Our Story

Ever feel the need to breakout of the routine? Escape the demands of everyday life?  Breakout Press Co. originated out of a desire to breakout from the daily stress of being a high school art teacher to in turn spread laughter, cheer and wit with our bold designs. 

Hi! I'm Krissy, the boss lady and illustrator who founded Breakout Press Co. in 2011.  Our journey began with a table, a few jars of ink and a few screens left over from graduate school. I started by making small prints and a few greeting cards for fun with no real plan what we were doing or where this was going.  

Growing up in a family of makers, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my family  and give a few craft shows a try. With overwhelming positive response to my work, Breakout Press Co. began to grow.  Fast forward several years, My husband Price, chief dude fulfills online orders and is slinging ink in our screen printing studio.  We now offer wholesale, custom printing and pop up at events all over the upper east coast!
